Profile widget

Coderbits provides a profile widget you can include on your website or blog. To use it simply follow the directions in the gist below.

You can also find, fork, or change the code in the coderbits.widget repository on GitHub.

Profile API

Coderbits provides a simple JSON endpoint for every profile. It is accessed by issuing an HTTP GET request to the profile URL with .json added to the end.

https://coderbits.com/username.json

JSONP callbacks are supported as optional query string parameters.

Requests using handles from linked external accounts (see additional resources for more information) also work for the profile API. In this case the request will return the coderbits profile linked to the GitHub account with the supplied the username.

https://coderbits.com/username.json?account=github

Here is an example response for a profile API request.

$ curl https://coderbits.com/bit.json
